President Magufuli Talks With German Chancellor

Tanzanian President John Magufuli has this week been discussing economic and investment relations with the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel. 

According to a statement from State House during the call Merkel praised President Magufuli’s efforts to fight corruption and build infrastructure. 

Discussions also encompassed a large fertilizer project in which Germany may participate, with German businesses thought to be among those planning a multi-billion dollar factory.
