RwandaAir Begins Flight to Guangzhou, China
RwandAir began flights to Guangzhou, China, on Monday this week.
The route will be served three times each week with an Airbus A330 travelling via Mumbai.
At 16 hours duration the flight is the longest yet for the national carrier, and its third Asian route.
RwandAir already flies to Dubai and Mumbai. However, it is expected to cut the travel time for those using the route to travel to Guangzhou by a third.
Last year Rwanda signed a number of deals with China’s Alibaba Group aimed at increasing trade and tourism between the two countries.
RwandAir is due to launch its new Tel Aviv, Israel, route next week, which will be the 29th route offered by the airline.
