Air Tanzania Expands Regional Offering

Air Tanzania is opening up travel in the region, announcing that it will start flights to Lusaka, Zambia, and Harare, Zimbabwe, in the next two weeks. The announcement follows news last week that Ethiopian Airlines will introduce several weekly flights to New York.

Air Tanzania has also revealed the airline has plans to launch flights to China and India in the coming weeks, having grown its fleet with two Airbus A220s in the past month. They are not the only regional airline looking to expand their horizons, however, with both Kenya Airways and RwandAir reported as considering the launch of routes to Tel Aviv, and Kenya Airways also scheduled to launch routes to European destinations Rome and Geneva in June of this year.
